Privacy policy
Effective October 8, 2026
Fuel Up Math! is a math practice driving game for children and families, published by Batson Consulting Group, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app.
The short version
We never collect anything about children, and we never sell or share personal information. The game works offline, with no ads, analytics or tracking. If a parent chooses to create a parent account, we store that parent's email address and a record of their full-game purchase, so the purchase works on all their devices. Nothing else is collected.
Information kept on your device
To save progress, the app stores a few things in your device's local storage:
- driver profile nicknames and truck colours that you type in (a nickname can be anything; a real name is not needed);
- tracks unlocked and stars earned;
- math practice settings and the list of "tricky facts" a player is still practising;
- keyboard settings;
- whether the full game has been unlocked on this device;
- if a parent signs in, their email address and sign-in session, so they stay signed in.
This information stays on the device. We cannot see it, and it is never uploaded. It is removed when you remove a driver in the app (a grown-ups-only step), or when you uninstall the app.
Information we collect
Without a parent account: none. The app contains no third-party code for advertising, analytics, crash reporting or social media.
Parent accounts (optional)
A parent can sign in with their email address, behind a grown-ups-only check, so that one purchase unlocks the full game on every phone, tablet and web browser they use. For a signed-in parent we store:
- the parent's email address, used only to send sign-in codes;
- a record of each full-game purchase: where it was made (website, App Store or Google Play), the store's purchase reference, the date, and whether it was refunded.
We don't store names, payment card details, or anything about the children who play. Drivers, progress and tricky facts stay on the device and are never uploaded.
This information is kept with our service providers, who process it only on our behalf: Supabase (our account and purchase database), our email delivery provider (for sign-in codes), and Stripe (payments on the website). To confirm an App Store or Google Play purchase, the app sends that store's purchase receipt to our server, which checks it with Apple or Google.
You can delete your parent account at any time in the game: Parent account, then Delete account. This removes your email address and purchase records straight away. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play stay with your Apple or Google account and can still be restored on that device.
The full-game purchase
Tracks 1 and 2 and every preset math level are free. The rest of the game is a one-time purchase, made in Apple's App Store, in Google Play, or on our website through Stripe, under their terms and privacy policies. We never receive card details. The app asks the store whether the full game has been bought, so it can unlock it and restore it after a reinstall. A grown-ups-only check appears before any purchase.
Children's privacy
The app collects no personal information from children. The only personal information it can collect is a parent's email address, entered by the parent behind a grown-ups-only check. The app is designed to meet the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. The app contains no links out of the app and no ways to contact other people. Purchases and settings that delete data sit behind a grown-ups-only check.
App store information
Apple and Google may collect information about downloads and app performance under their own privacy policies. We do not receive personal information from them.
Changes
If a future version handles personal information in a new way (for example, syncing children's progress between devices), we will update this policy and the app store privacy labels before that version is released, and describe the change here.
